Supply Chain Analysis and Design

Abstract: A major lubricants manufacturer must decide which products should be made at which production facilities, which production facilities should service which warehouse and distribution centers and which warehouses should service which customers. Production and packaging occur at both company facilities and toll manufacturers. Considerations include production costs, transportation rates, cost of inventory and customer service requirements.
